Overview

The proposed joint Accommodation Classification System (ACS), developed within the framework of the Almaty–Bishkek Economic Corridor,1 is based on a detailed assessment of other countries' ACSs and international best practices. The proposed ACS is aimed at both travelers and accommodation establishments. Besides those two main user categories, the new joint ACS will also serve the travel trade, investors, construction companies, equipment suppliers, international hotel chains, and all involved government agencies.
